Welcome
Healing through spirit, heart & energy
  • The Spiritheart Flute and Drum Circle

What I Do:

I help people heal and grow through Spirit, a Compassionate Heart, and the Human Energy Field.

What I Believe:

We are so much more than our bodies. When we treat disease using only chemicals, mechanicals and surgery, we do not treat the whole person. When we meet the body, mind, spirit, and soul with a compassionate heart wondrous things can happen. We are more than our digestive tract and our endocrine system. We are alive and it is a gift! Learning to live with purpose, meaning and joyous passion is true healing. Take care of your body, forgive (including yourself), notice and be thankful for all the small daily blessings as well as the big ones, and work to heal the planet by remembering Gandhi’s, “We must be the change we wish to see in the world.” We are perfectly imperfect. We may never understand it all. What a glorious adventure every time we breathe in and out.

How I Prepare to Help:

A Native America Shaman once said, “My job is to prepare my body to be a hollow set of bones through with the Great Spirit can pass.” This defines my practice.

To that end I am the following:

  • A Reiki Master
  • A Certified Holistic Healthcare Practitioner (Washington School of Natural Medicine)
  • A Graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing Four-Year Professional Studies Program
  • An Interfaith Minister and graduate of The New Seminary Center for Interfaith Studies in New York
  • A husband of 40 years with two sons.

What a Session is Like:

Sessions run from 1 to 2 hours depending on what comes up during our time together. My fee is per session. It is important that I create a safe space for our work together. It is also important that I check my ego at the door so that the only agenda I have is to be present with my Client and whatever shows itself. I have many skills that I have been taught by some wonderful teachers, mentors and guides. Therefore, while the format of conversation and teaching moving towards the clothed Client laying on a comfortable massage table for energy work rarely changes, the contents of the conversation and the energy work may appear quite different from session to session. Occasionally I suggest some ideas that the Client may wish to consider in between sessions. I take all of my cases to regular Supervision for review and oversight. My belief is that if a practicioner is not in Supervision then one’s ego can be a hindrance to the work. Clients usually work with me on a twice monthly basis depending on need. Some I see in person and some I work with long distance. I also work with Clients in a group setting.
